Our Woman and Children's Mission

A Cup of Cold Water has a mission to help Haiti's most vulnerable community. We minister to the various needs of the local woman and children. From food and other life giving supplies to healthy outlets for children like soccer fields and basketball courts. 

Meet Pastor Pierre Dieucon - Haiti Country Director



In a trip towards the end of May in 2022 we had our first encounter with Pastor Pierre. He showed us his church which was large and complete. There was a school that was fully functional with hundreds of enrolled students receiving a good education. As well as a water well surrounded by dozens of children filling bottles and containers. Then when he took us to his house, we noticed one glaring problem. There was no roof. He had put the lives of the people in the community before himself stating his trademark saying "the kingdom of God comes first".

I remember his voice when he said, "God told me THIS year, he was going to put a roof on my house." The remaining amount needed to put the roof on was $8000 USD. There were only seven months left in that year. In the US that would be a long shot. In a country like Haiti, that was simply impossible.  

When I returned from Haiti we began telling people about Pastor Pierre. To our utter amazement God began to move on the hearts of those few individuals to give in a big way. It was not but a few weeks and we had been given $9500 from people that wanted to help Pastor Pierre and his family. By the time we were ready to send the money, it appeared there would be no way to complete the work in the midst of escalated civil unrest. We prayed, put it into God's hands, and moved forward. We received an excited message with these pictures from Pastor Pierre on December the 28th, 2022. God had done it "THIS" year.

Since then A Cup of Cold Water has grown, and our love and friendship with Pastor Pierre has grown with it.

Today Pastor Pierre is the Haiti Country Director for A Cup of Cold Water and is leading the rest of our incredible team on the ground in Haiti.
